Let's talk about Trump scaring Dems and Paul Ryan....

From Beau. My comments:

The reason Trump was accepted as President was so that he would sign the tax reform bill that was essentially written by Paul Ryan (and caused the slowdown in the economy). Once he signed the bill, their only motive was damage control. Ryan gave us this monster. It's on him. Ryan's tax bill expires in 2024, so he wants someone in office that will keep his work alive. 

In the new year, talks about replacing the expiring provisions will start. For me, as a tax policy wonk, this is the Super Bowl. Hopefully, I can get into the game with something besides the current back and forth - which tinkers around the edges and locks much of the nation in semi-poverty.
